Design of the Week: Daisy Marc Jacobs
Due to being swamped in work, I've skipped last week's design-of-the-week.
This week I would like to show you "Daisy Marc Jacobs". The site is a marketing launch campaign of this new perfume of Marc Jacobs, and they've done a real nice job.
The site can be categorized as a community and loyalty site where members can plant a "virtual" daisy in a field and make it grow through playing games, entering contests, referring the site to friends, etc... The more you do, the more you'll see your daisy grow.

There are some sections that you can view without being a member, but most fun stuff is for members only.
For instance, the download sections contains wallpapers, themes for MySpace, screensavers, which you can gain by making your daisy grow.

In my opinion it's a nicely thoughtout concept, which has all the stuff you need to build a community inside your targetgroup. It's nice and lite, and full of goodies in flash.
